About IABAT
The Islamic Ahlul-Bayt Association of the Triangle (IABAT) is a nonprofit institution. The religious programs conducted in this center are in various languages: Arabic, Urdu, Persian and of course English. This center is being currently in the process of re-location. We are renting different places temporarily. Since its inception, this center has been providing religious services to the community of believers by way of Kids school, congregational prayers, observance of joyous and sorrowful occasions associated with the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and his Ahlul-Bayt (PBUT) and guidance in matters of religious beliefs and actions.
The community associated with IABAT is diverse. It has been grouped into the following four Groups:
- English Speaking
- Arabic Speaking
- Persian Speaking
- Urdu Speaking
The purpose of this classification is merely for fairness and communication. Two representatives are elected from each group which results in the formation of the Board of Directors, which is elected on a yearly basis.
